Shearer Show Lambs includes Roger and Lisa
Shearer who are located in Wooster, Ohio
Wayne County and Roger’s father Dave Shearer
of Fredericksburg, Ohio Wayne County. The
lambs are a family project for us. Roger
grew up showing lambs in 4-H actually
starting out with registered Suffolk sheep
that Dave and his family raised. Roger’s
interest eventually turned to market lambs
as he got older and continued with the 4-H
program. Roger and Lisa met showing lambs
and were married in 2006. Our family
continues to be very involved as advisors
and sheep committee members. We have
combined our efforts in raising sheep with
Dave and currently are focusing on raising
and selling high quality lambs that will be
competitive in any show ring. In 2007 we
built a new sheep barn as our flock
continues to grow. Our ewe genetics go back
to Allen & Christy Johnson of Johnson Show
Lambs, Fred & Sally Johnson of Johnson Show
Lambs, Roger Hunker of LaRog Show Lambs, and
Rod Phillips of Phillips Family Show Lambs.
We would like to extend a special thanks to
these people for helping us get started. We
hope that we can continue to improve our
flock and meet many new friends along the
way. Visitors are welcome anytime!
